TPS62147: TPS62147 digital input connections

Part Number: TPS62147

Hi,

The datasheet for the TPS62147 mentions in the layout guidelines (12.1) the following:  "In case any of the digital inputsEN, FSEL or MODE need to be tied to the input supply voltageat VIN, the connection must be made directly at the input capacitor as indicated in the schematics. Please also see the EVM User ́s Guide SLVUBE9."

I looked in the user's guide without finding any specific information.  The eval board connects the signals through a jumper directly to Vin or GND.

I'd like to have a resistor settable MODE pin (and perhaps others) that connect to Vin or GND.  Should I use 0-ohm resistors?  If I use a somewhat large resistance (~10k) or a large resistor divider, is the requirement that the node connect directly at the Vin input capacitor critical?

Thanks.

Mark
