TPS54308: Do you have any equation to calculate output capacitor ESR like equation6 on page 23 of LMR33630 datasheet?

 Hello guys,

 One of my customers is designing their own board using TPS54308 for their new products.

 They want to get any equation to calculate output capacitor ESR like equation6 on page 23 of LMR33630 datasheet?

 Do you have it?

    Hi Kazuya,

    You can use the equation of LMR33630 or use the simplified equation(13) of TPS54308, there is not much different. You can calculate it from two aspects: load transient and output ripple.

    And as I mentioned in another post, if the customer use ceramic capacitors, there is no need to consider the ESR.
