In the datasheet of LM5146-Q1, there is a line mentioning "Connect a ceramic decoupling capacitor between 1 μF and 5 μF from VCC to AGND for stability".
What exactly does the stability of the LDO mean?
I understand that they serve the purpose of high frequency currents thereby decoupling the supply from those transients. What is the stability concern?
Can you please explain?
