TPS55330: Can duty cycle of the chip be zero?

Hello,

I am going to use this chip to boost voltage from 12V. I like the output to be in the range from 12V to 15V by using a potentiometer to adjust Feedback voltage. Is it possible?

    Hi Xiaoming:

    As the diode will have a voltage drop, so actually the converter still need switching.

    What's more, for TPS55330, even there is a minimum on-time limitation as 77ns (typical). If the on-time smaller than the limitation, it will enter into skip pulse operation. Details could be check "7.3.3.1" in datasheet.  

    So, it could support Vin=12V, Vout=12V, if other conditions are within the recommendation range.
