Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, BQ40Z50, GPCCEDV
After recieving the text files from the GPC tool, and copying the parameters into data memory in bqstudio, we would like to know if there is something else we should do in order to finish the configuration process of the bq4050 and creating the "golden file" which can be used to configure other bq4050 gas gauges.
until now we made 3 steps:
1) calibration (using bqstudio calibration tab( temp. voltage, current)
2)data memory import from notepad
2)data memory import from notepad
3)applying gpc parameters into data memory
this question stems from the fact that bq40z50 requires a learning cycle after uploading the gpc parameters to correct qmax and R table , however bq4050 do not support the R table, so does it need to pass a learning cycle? if not , what is the influence on the bq4050 results as against the bq40z50 results?
thank you for your help.
