Hi,
would you please help to recommend a solution : 24V DC in and + -12V, 100mA solution. also need to support short circuit protection。
Fewer devices are better。 thanks.

What about flybuck?

Or you can do two chip solution:
I am unsure of what the input is, Ill assume it has transients
You could do one implementation of typical buck with either LMR36006 or LMR36506 to generate positive supply
You could do another implementation of inverting buck boost with either LMR36006 or LMR36506 to generate negative supply
Beck,
Thanks for the suggestion. your two buck solution is OK for customer. would you please suggest a 100mA, cost efficient device to produce the negative rail, also need to support short protection. thanks.
Either LMR36503 or LMR36506. Both will work for 24 to neg12 at 100mA with 30% inductor ripple.
Just noticed these devices you recommended is quite new. please suggest if LM25019 can support the same function? thanks.
