We have a customer inquiring about LM5160QPWPRQ1 / A_VOLT_REG_SWITCHING_REG_1.5A_HTSSOP. He mentioned that during their recent builds, they are encountering short circuit between pins. To solve the issue, and to be sure that they are using all the recommendations from TI, they are requesting for the following information:
-- is there a recommended solder mask / stencil thickness for component thermal pad + pins?
-- what is the recommended aperture design / pattern for component thermal pad + pins?
-- is there recommendation for cutting of apertures and its shape?
-- any recommendation for nozzle design or connected to it?
Also, based on experience they are asking what would be TI’s recommendation to eliminate short circuits or any other specifics they should follow?
