Hi,Team,

We can see that TPS24742 has 1.9mS deglich time when recomvey from UVLO conditon.

if IC also has deglich time when recomvery from OV conditon? can we eliminate the deglich time

if it has? Same question for LM25066.

Hi Oliver,

It is taking more time to me than expected to check if there is 1.9ms delay before startup after the OV condition is removed.

Do you get the answer for above quesiton? How about the delay time when reconery from OV protection?

Cusotmer needs the data before they finalize the hotswap solution.

Hi Oliver,

For LM25066 there is no delay after recovery from Over Voltage event.

I am still working on to get this information for TPS24742. Please allow me to revert back on this.

For TPS24742 also there is no delay after Over voltage recovery.

You can have a look at section 10.3.2 in datasheet. The Auxiliary rail OV pin is connected to VMAIN such that when VMAIN drops below 11V, VAUX recovers from Overvollatge and starts delivering the load. You can see in Figure 62 that the Auxiliary rail turns ON without any delay.
