BQ78350: Communication with Arduino

Hi,

I have prepared a arduino code and ı can establish a communication between BQ20Z655 and arduino. But by using the same code, I can not do the same thing between BQ78350 and arduino. Every command return "-1" on arduino serial interface. I am using 4k7 pull-up resistors both SMBC and SMBD. And LDO voltage is 2.5V

For instance, battery voltage: -1 or current: -1 etc.

Would you please help me solve this problem?

Hi Yusuf,

Communication with the BQ78350 should be very similar to communication with the BQ20Z655. However, it is different hardware, so there could be something in your code that is not transferable.

Assuming you have an EVM, I recommend capturing SMBus transactions from BQStudio to the EVM and comparing the same command using your Arduino to understand what might be different.
