Hi,

can you please tell me is this inductor suitable for use with TPS560430-Q1 for 0-600mA load?

Inductor value determines stability.

Inductor power capabilities is determined by DC current and peak current limit of device.

Please provide more information regarding input/output power and desired switching frequency.

Hi Marshall,

the Vin is 9-15V, Vout is 3.3A. Max current is 600mA. The TPS560430-Q1 would be used in PFM mode and the frequency is 2.1 MHz.

Upon further searching I found this inductor which I think would fit in my application, and is smaller than the one in my initial post: XGL4020-822ME. The datasheet is here: https://www.coilcraft.com/pdfs/xgl4020.pdf

Can you please confirm the XGL4020-822ME is suitable for my application?

You will have reasonable ripple <30% with value

Your inductor choice looks good after examining datasheet.
