    Hi Kiyong,

    Yes, LiFePO4 cells can be supported by the bq79606A-Q1. Please see the recommended operating conditions table in the datasheet (section 7.3) and ensure that the Vcell/Vmodule specs will be met and note that a 2V min is required for using the internal cell balancing FET.
