Do you have any constraint on the charging time. ? What is the max ambient temperature. ?

What is the end equipment ?

I hope you referred app note http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva920/slva920.pdf . It should be possible to do with TPS25940 by proper selection of Rlim and Cdvdt.

end application is NFC reader with backup power via Super cap.

Ambient temp: 0-65 C degree (target Japan market)

Charging time is not tight sofar, we can define via charging current. 

Just concern can use TPS25940 for charger function or not ?

TPS25940 can be used as charger. The only concern I see in this high capacity 100F charging is non-monotonous startup. That means, the TPS25940 can go into thermal shutdown and restart again.

Please get an EVM and test with 100F load.

thanks for feedback, charge current is 1A is ok for TPS25940? we will limited via res and add delay for make sure system power on first and charger will start later. 

about 100F (4.2v / 5.6V) have other simple and low cost solution from TI for charge.
