TL431: Alternative source for NCP431BVSNT1G

This is a great spot for the new TL431LI. We are pin-to-pin capble and also operate in an A and B grade, as you can see in the datasheet. Please let me know if you have any issues with part selection. Does your application require the 100mA output current?

 I has learnt TL431LI datashet, I noted its sink current  is from1 mA (max) to 15 mA (max), but the NCP431BVSNT1G sink current range is from 40 uA to 100 mA. Could TL431LI replace NCP431BVSNT1G? Anything I missing?

Hi Xiaobing,

You're right, this is a difference between these parts. This new part has a tradeoff of output current for benefits in Iref, Ii(dev), and temp drift. If you need the 100mA sink current, please take a look at the TL431, which is a different part number but functionally equivalent to the NCP431.
