UCD90120A: Sequencing Timeout Feature

Part Number: UCD90120A

We are trying to figure out when the sequencing timeout feature starts counting down. It is our impression that the timeout starts when the latest dependency has been enabled. For example:

-        Rail 3 has Rail 1 and Rail 2 as dependencies

Does the sequence timeout start from 0 ms, when the device is powered on, or from 0.5 ms when the dependencies are enabled?

  • Hello

The sequencing timeout timer is triggered as soon as the ON/OFF_CONFIG condition of the given rail is met to turn on the rail.

if the ON/OFF_CONFIG is set to AUTO Mode, the sequencing timeout timer starts as soon as device finishes initialization.

For the rest modes, it is up to when the condition is met.
