TPS1H200A-Q1: Input and Output capacitance value

Hello

 

Do you have any recommendation for capacitance value on VS input pin and OUT output pin of TPS1H200A-Q1?

My customer would like to understand how to decide these values in 24V system.

The maximum load, which is power line for a camera, is about 1A.

    Hi Oba,

    We do not have any specific recommendations for input and output capacitance values for this device. The input and output capacitance are dependent on the loads used and the device does not need a capacitance value for its operation.

    For example, if your supply is unable to provide the current during the turn on phase, then a larger input capacitor will be needed. The output capcitance is whatever the load requires to function correctly.
