BQ40Z50-R2: Cycle count increments by two at regular intervals

Is there some setting in the fuel gauge which can cause the cycle count to increment by two at regular intervals.

I'm seeing cycle count incrementing by two after every 14 cycles (+-1 cycle) even though cycle count should increment by 1. Can the CCT bit (set to 0) or cycle count percentage settings cause that?

When the battery is in relax state, do you see passedcharge increment overtime?

In the log file, there is a column with the header of "PassedQ", this is what I said as passedcharge in the post below, please log the data with this column and send out for check.

I am running cycle life test and cannot stop the test atm to start logging PassedQ. However I will keep this in mind and try to come up with another setup to be able to cycle the pack and log the PassedQ.

Is this the same than Qmax Passed Q seen in Battery Management Studio.

It should DOD0 Passed Q in BQStudio.

If you see DOD0 Passed Q increment quickly when the battery is in relax status, please do a cc offset calibration and board offset calibration see if this drift could be ameliorated somehow, otherwise you can manually raise the coulomb counter deadband in calibration section in dataflash until you DOD0 Passed Q has been minimized.
