Hello,

we are looking for a dual dc/dc with Vin above 30V and split rail output.

Currently we use LM5166 as step down from 30V and then TPS65133 for the split rail (positive and negative output).

Perhaps it's better to use some dual dc/dc with internal switch and ext. diode and low ext components instead.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Bart,

We do not have any split rail DC-DC converters with wide Vin range (such as 30V you mentioned) in our portfolio. You are on a correct solution by stepping down and using a split rail converter.

Hi Bart,

I did a quick search on ti.com and am not finding a suitable solution to accomplish split rails based on controller topology either. I would suggest to create another e2e thread without mentioning a specific part number in it so that it hopefully gets assigned to someone who may be more informed about general solutions.
