I cannot open file CEDV6_16_init_2000.mcd provided in sluc042. I downloaded the file from below link

I tried it from the file>open option in mathcad, but it showed me an error saying file type not supported

Extension that I see from Mathcad open window are .mcdx or .mctx

    Hi Ansul,

    The online GPCCEDV is the recommended tool for generating your CEDV parameters. A long time ago before this tool was available, the Mathcad tool was all that was available. Since many customers do not have a Mathcad license, the online tool was created.

    The .mcd format is not supported with newer versions of Mathcad. I think there are ways to convert .mcd to a newer format if you search on Mathcad forums.
