UCC28881: Improvement of VDD effiency

Hello,
can the VDD be supplied by a diode+resistor (instead of a cap)? Will this save power in standby mode?

Hello ,

The UCC28881 needs a capacitor to filter out high frequency noise and support driving an internal FET.

A diode and resistor and a bias supply will not be enough.
