BQ4050: GPC CEDV Accuracy Error

Part Number: BQ4050
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, , GPCCEDV

Hello!

Accuracy Error: Deviation is so high that it is most likely due to anomaly in the data. Please check that

data files have recomended format, units and test schedule.

I use the BQStudio tool to create the zip file, but since this tool is not in the new studio version,
I use one of the previous ones. When choosing the type of chemistry, I choose LiFePo4,
but as far as I know, LiFePo4 has 3.2 volts of rated voltage, and I use cells of 3.7 volts (4.2 V max),
but there is no such option. Could this be the cause of the error?
And where to get a tool for creating a zip file with the ability to choose my type of chemistry?

I am confused. Are you saying there is no bq4050 bqz file for your bqstudio? Which version of bqstudio are you using?

The attached file that you submitted, can you attach that on here?

    thanks

  • In version BQStudio 1.3.86 GPCPackager tool throws an error: Plug-in com.ti.evswsdk.gpcpackager
was unable to load class com.ti.evswsdk.gpcpackager.views.GPCPackagerView.
And in version BQStudio 1.3.54.1, there is no type of chemistry suitable for the cell that I use -
    rated voltage 3.7 V, maximum voltage 4.2 V.
I choose a chemistry type close in parameters: LiFePo4, but I think this is not right...

You really don't need the packager to obtain the files which are needed to be submitted to the tool. You just need to collect the 6 files,Name them accordingly, configure the config file correctly and then submit. You do not need a chem id or chemistry type for this. Follow the instructions manual in gpccedv tool

    thanks
