Why DC - DC boost converter has a right hand plane zero?
Hi Helen,
I appreciate your effort. Thank you. I am curious to know how this right half plane zero arises physically.
Dear Sir,
If the frequency of the 'right half plane zero' is high, >10 times the crossover frequency , then it will has no effect on the stability.
But if the frequency of the 'right half plane zero' is low, <5 times the crossover frequency, then it may effect the stability. So for the boost converter, we need to calculate it and make sure it is far away from the crossover frequency.
