My customer needs to confirm our understanding of the temperature specifications for this device, particularly with respect to the UVLO. Two specific questions:
1) On many TI data sheets the "typical" specification represents the typical voltage at 25C while MIN and MAX reflect variation over the full temperature range. However, it would appear based on the absence of that specific comment in the data sheet, that with this device that MIN, MAX, and TYPICAL simply specify the range of UVLO voltage for all devices over time, temperature, and lot. In this way, TYPICAL would give us an idea of the center of the distribution, and there is no correlation of MIN or MAX with temperature (i.e., we could see a MIN value at extreme cold or extreme hot.) Is this a correct interpretation?
2) Figure 7 would seem to bear out my interpretation above as the value of UVLO appears nearly flat with respect to temperature. But as Figure 7 is for a typical device can the near flatness of UVLO with respect to temperature be extended to apply to all devices?
Thank you!
