TPS61088: I have some question about Shutdown current .

Dear TI team:

We used TPS61088 for 4.2V boost to 5V application. When we pull low EN PIN， Shutdown leakage current is about 50uA, but the spec describes the quiescent current is 3uA into the Vin pin. There is a load switch at the output of the IC that is off.

Why is the difference between the specification and the actual test value so large? Please help explain and give a suggestion, it is very urgent . thank you!TPS61088 Circuit.docx

Dear Sir,

It requires no feedback resistor. Did you add the feedback resistor?

We are not have feedback resistor, TPS61088 is also about 50uA .

How did you test the quiescent current? did you test it according to the below table?

Dear Helen:

We set Enable PIN to 0V， no load, no feedback resistor divider connect to the VOUT. System current is X uA， if remove the TPS61088， system current is X-50 (uA）, so TPS61088 consumed 50mA current.

When Enable PIN to 0V, Vout have a voltage, about 3.5 V.
