TPS7H1201-HT: as drop-in replacement for TPS7H1101A-SP

Hello,

Customer is looking for non-space grade alternative for TPS7H1101A-SP, and we found that TPS7H1201-HT seems to be a viable candidate.

Using the "compare" feature of the TI website, it displays that both have the same package and the same size. Please see this link.
However, checking the datasheet, It seems that they have different packages and sizes. Can you please help confirm which is right?

Also, if TPS7H1201-HT is not a drop-in replacement for TPS7H1101A-SP, can you please help recommend one that is?

    Hi Elisha,

    Can you confirm if you are looking for a pin to pin (p2p) replacement? The two devices you listed have very similar package dimensions (in fact they are within the allowable manufacturing tolerances of each other) but the leads of the -SP device are significantly longer than the -HT device. 

    We do not have any other devices which would be p2p with the TPS7H1101A-SP however we may be able to find a suitable device for the application if you can give use the requirements (Vin, Vout, Iout, Temp, features, etc), assuming it doesn't have to be p2p.
