Hello TI

After the successful learning cycle,we are using the newly created Srec file for charging and discharging purpose,when it is charging condition the FC bit is not enable after full charge.what is the solution.

please suggest me.

Please advise how do judge a full charge? If you are using a charger IC instead of the power supply, please make sure your charge IC terminate charging after gg detected charge termination.

If the issue persists, please upload a log file and gg file next time

Hello steven

Full charge indicates FC bit set after the 100 % charge.this is what the fulll charge mean,i assumed through out the learning cycle.

Hello Steven,

i was uploading a new srec file which is generated from a learning cycle.

So i was started charging a battery with the use of power supply,not using a charger IC,after completing charge it shows 100% but FC bit not set.i attached a gg files and log files for your reference.

may i know the reason.

Not quite clear about your question, I see the FC bit set in line #737 in your log file with BatteryStatus Register value changes from 0x0080 to 0x40A0. The FC bit is bit 5 in low byte of BattStat Register, so this bit is set up charge termination
