TLC59116: Fast Transient Burst test issue

Part Number: TLC59116
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC59108,

Good morning,

In my application, I'm using one TLC59116 16 channel led driver and one TLC59108 8 channel led driver.

There is a Main PCBa (microcontroller + power supply + ...), a Top PCBa (TLC59116 with 16 led) and a Bottom PCBa (TLC59108 with 3 ledl), connected with 80mm cables (not shielded).

The IC led driver are supplied @+3v3 and the led common signal @+5v.

Following you could find the schematic.

During the EMC test (Fast Transient Burst), I encountered a problem where, the comminucation between the MCU and one of the two led driver (the TLC59116), was blocked.

Only removing the main power supply e power on again, the system started to worke correctly.

What I would double check is, if the pull-up values on SDA/SCL/RESET signal are correct, if the capacitor on the IC main supply are correct, if I need to add something else to protect/get more robust

the configuration. Please note that, for the SDA/SCL I2Cbus signal, I used two couple of pull-up ressitor (one copule on the first IC driver and one copuple on the second IC driver) so, the final pullìup

ressitor value was 4K7 // 4K7  =  2K35

Thanks in advance

Alessio
