BQ24230: without battery issue

We have two module for BQ24230 application , one is with battery and the other is non-battery .

With battery, our system boot fine.

But without battery condition, our system boot failed ..Do the BQ24230 support only Vin from 5V ? Or I need to do something... (TS pin is pull down with 10K ohm)

Hi Anthony:

The system load is about 50mA normally, the inrush current is more than 100mA. About the USB-IF inrush current spec 100mA@100ms power on.

If our system power on inrush current is more than 100mA, the BQ24230 will be latch up or how it works... if this condition have.

That doesn't look like it should have any problems. What is the voltage and current at the input?

Hi Anthony :

The problem is fixed after I delay reset signal for CC2642R, I think that our system boot up need more than 100mA , it will have glitch .
