BQ78350-R1: Learned Capacity Update

I'm trying to troubleshoot as to why full charge capacity does not update during a discharge. I noticed the VDQ bit in the Gauging Status register stays on during the entire discharge until 7% capacity is remaining and then turns off. In previous tests, the remaining capacity would hold at 7% until the EDV2 value is reached and then update the full capacity accordingly. However, it no longer does this. None of the protection alarms appear to be active in the safety status registers. Could someone help me troubleshoot this issue? Thank you.
