Hi everyone;

        

See below schematic from LM5050 datasheet.

Ask:

  1. Is the driver voltage(GATE) of the LM5050-2 GATE variable with the current changing through the MOSFET in red region? The more current, the more GATE voltage?

  2. What is the normal driving voltage (V_GATE) if the current is 13.5A through MOSFET?

    Hi

    Yes, source-drain voltage of MOSFET is regulated to 22mV by controlling the gate-source voltage.

    At high current, gate voltage will be high (RdsON reduced).

    At low current, gate voltage will be lower (RdsON increased).

    Vgs voltage is dependent on the MOSFET RdsON and load current.

    If you can share the MOSFET part number or datasheet, we can suggest based on the data.

           MOSFET part number is AON6280;www.alldatasheet.com/.../AON6280.html

    See below ,test Vgs  voltage is low about 4V.why?thank you
