Part Number: LMZ23605

The operating temperature range specified in the data sheet is -40°C to +85°C, and the junction temperature range is  –40°C to +125°C. I need maximum operating temperature up to +125°C. Do you have any other suggestion for the LMZ23605 operating temperature?

    Hi Edith,

    The part will not be able to operate at 125C ambient. Please see Figure 37- 40 for thermal derating of the part. The bottle neck here is because of the passive components that are bundled inside the power module. Under loading and an ambient temperature of 125C, the part's junction temperature will exceed the recommended junction temperature specified in the datasheet and may enter thermal shutdown if it exceeds 165C. 

    Unfortunately there are no power modules that are capable of operating in 125C ambient temperature. I'm curious, what environment would require 125C ambient temperature?
