UCC27324: Maximum output current

Part Number: UCC27324

Hello,

According to UCC27324 datasheet, the output current at Vdd=14V is equal to 4A. This current is the combined current from the bipolar and MOSFET transistors at only will be supplied at first 10nS of operation.

I'm quite confuse here since there is not much info on these. Will the 4A output current be independent from the internal input resistance of the mosfet connected to the output of the driver?

Lets say the driver is connected to 12V vdd and the internal resistance of the fet is 25ohm (assuming there is no external input resistor from the driver output to the gate input of the mosfet).

The output current during sourcing current (fet is turning ON) is equal to Iout= (Vdd-Vth mosfet)/ Rint. Am i right?

Appreciate if you all can give me some ideas regarding this matter. Thanks!
