TPS65950: LDO Supplies

In what state we should keep the the unused LDO's? Either we should provide any minimum load to make the other LDO's active or we can keep it in default voltage level?

In my system I am not using VAUX1.OUT, VAUX2.OUT, VAUX3.OUT, VMMC2.OUT. In what state or voltage level we should keep these LDO's?

Also I am using Logic PD Zoom Kit for my development purpose which has TWL 4030 Chip, If I try to change/disable any power source using my firmware, does it work or it will affect any device constructed in that Zoom Kit.

In simple can we do power management related test or experiments in Logic PD Zoom kit?

  • Hi,

If you are not using a specific external LDO then you should keep it OFF. There is no dependency on other LDOs.

If your firmware conflicts with that of Zoom then I dont know what will happen. You can refer to the users manual for Zoom to check what the software is doing.

You can do your power management experiments with Zoom board. You may have to use the Zoom API etc. I don't have a Zoom platform and hence I don't know any details about that.
