TPS2546: Why IC's output can't function ?

What is your use case? The TPS2546 is meant to be a port controller for a USB Type A port, as shown below. The recommended connection for OUT is to the VBUS pin of the Type A port.

Hi Emma,

Our device is to use Vbus power as source, but there will be leakage voltage itself ( leakage from DP IC ).

We found that it would cause TPS2546 without output.

What is the voltage on the pin that you are seeing? It is not normal for VBUS to have no output. Is the FAULT pin triggered? Is your enable pin pulled high?

Is the FAULT pin triggered? Is your enable pin pulled high?

 It looks the same

The current our solution is to require the device to have no leakage voltage. 

But if you have other suggestions please let us know, thanks~

Putting leakage voltage on the TPS2546 is outside of its recommended use case and outside of the devices' design.

If the diode fixes the issue, then you can continue to use that solution.
