Customer is looking for protectionIC for Li-FePO4.
Could you tell me the recommended protection IC and gas gauge for 2S Li-FePO4?

Also, Does the following IC support it?
・BQ40Z60
・BQ40Z80
・BQ40Z50-R2

As for bq40z60 - we do not recommend this one.

However, I recommend you look at the bq40z50-R3.

Customers are also considering 1S2P batteries.
Could you tell me the recommended protection IC for 1S2P Li-FePO4?
Battery voltage is 3.2V～3.65V.

As for the 1S, we have 2 options; BQ2970 and BQ2980. The BQ2970 will be a more cost effective that features low side protection. The BQ2980 is a more accurate protector that features high side protection.

Customers want both protection and gauge functions.

As a result, They are considering bq40z50.
However, there was no chem ID information of Li-FePO4 under investigation in the library.
Could you tell me how to make a chemi ID?
