How should we select charger device for LiFePO4 battery?

Can we use any Li-ion battery charging device if charge voltage is match with used LiFePO4 battery?

Or is special feature required for LiFePO4 battery charging?

According to bq25070(LiFePO4 charger) datasheet, I think charging profile is different from Li-ion battery charging profile.
For LiFePO4 battery charging, is this behavior required?  "CC charge -> OVCH detection -> Float voltage regulation"

I think this doesn't have taper current detection. How is the full charge detected?

    Hi Kohei,

    It is generally acceptable to charge LiFePO4 with the same profile as Lion (CC-CV-TERM), except for CV=3.6V, or using the profile like BQ25070 (CC-OVCH-FLT). If you float, the charge current eventually drops to zero.  Either way, you can use any host controlled charger as long as you software to change the profile and voltage levels.  You would also want to lower the MINSYS and disable charging at power up until VBATREG is changed.  What is your input voltage and charge current?

    I don't have specific using condition because I just wanted to know how to select device when we get asking about LiFePO4 charger device.
