TPS23880: TPS23880EVM: Output wiring for 4 Pair Port 1

Hi TI,

I just want to confirm output wiring connection for TPS23880. Referring to Evaluation module schematics, http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvub84b/slvub84b.pdf, VPWR is connected to DC1- and DC2+. Is it a mistake or polarity is not important for this output wiring? Please reconfirm. Thanks.

Hi John,

It is not a mistake. IEEE standard specifies the pinout alternatives for each type. This board is designed for type 4, so it follows Alternative A (MDI-X) and Alternative B (S). Thanks.
