LM3150: Absolute Maximum Ratings at "All other inputs to GND"

Hi team,

This is the Absolute Maximum Ratings from the datasheet.

I think All Other Inputs means EN, FB, SS, and ILIM.

I know it's expected under 0.7V at SS pin. https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/841998

However, Is it really that the ILIM pin need to be under 7V? I think the voltage at the ILIM pin is close to the voltage at the SW pin during on-time because voltage drop of RLIM is much smaller than SW voltage.

The abs max voltage on the Ilim pin is equal to the VIN abs max rating.

Frank,

When dead time, the voltage on SW is -0.85V because of body-drain diode forward voltage based on Typical application 9.2.2.2

The voltage change at Rilim is about 0.16V based on Typ application, so the voltage on Ilim is -0.66V.

Therefore I think there are any problems if abs max rating is -0.3~47V.

Is my thought correct?

You are correct. I should have stated that the Abs max voltage for the Ilim pin is the same as the SW pin.
