Hi,

Could you please recommend a boost converter that has a zero current off state and still have a flexible startup.

For example, a BLE temperature sensor device. Its power source is a primary cell battery Li-socl2 3.6V, that powers up the rest of the system and I need a boost converter that is used to regulate the output voltage to power up the sensor that requires 5V supply, which has no current leakage when the temperature sensor is not in use.

Actually the sensor that requires the 5V supply has 60mA load current, but for the whole application the maximum current would be more or less 150mA when it is running.

Hi,

Is there any available component that has a fixed output 5V? Btw, I am also considering to use PMOS instead of using the enable pin (controlled by MCU) to turn on the boost converter. Is there particular boost converter you could recommend and PMOS for my application? The full Vbat range is 2.8V to 3.6V from the battery to supply the whole system.

Dear Sir,

Then you may consider to use TPS61022.

And could you please tell me more about the 'PMOS' to turn on/off the IC? Because even if you use PMOS, you still need to connect the control signal to the EN pin.
