Could you tell me how to select and calculate the Power Metal Strip® Resistors @ 25 amp?

Why you choose the Wsl2726 in LM5170-EVM?

Hi,

The power dissipation is I^2 x R.

The device was chose to have flexibility for higher power upgrade of the EVM. The power level of the EVM is basically limited by the inductor used. Replacing it with a larger inductor the EVM can support higher power.

However, this WSL2726 is not the only resistor to choose from. You can choose a different type of the sense resistor, as long as it works for you application.

And the power dissipation chooses. Half of the component?
