UCC3895: Question for constant current inverter

Hello

I will design the constant current inverter using UCC3895

Design Condition:

input voltage: DC 185V

Ouput Current : 10A (RMS)

Can you answer follow question?

1. Is it avalible to adjust frequency by applying external PWM signal to RT, CT terminal?

2. Is it avalible to adjust duty (minimum 5% ~ maximum 45%) by applying MCU signal to EAP terminal?

3. What happens to switching operation (duty or phase shift ) if current is consumed below that in constant current 10A?

I am sorry it be replied late, this is answer you want.

Q1> it isn't. but you can use the PIN SYNC, which allows synchronization of external signal. please refer to 7.3.13 of UCC3895 datasheet.

Q2> yes. You need to care the inject to EAP voltage is less than 2.5V.

Q3> you can design the circuit working into burst mode.
