Hi Kevin,
The recommended max output continuous current is 2A. Meaning as normal work, suggested to load not above 2A.
RILIM = 20 kΩ means the setting current limit is 2.72A(typical). Meaning as with heavy load or short circuit, the switch will limit the current to 2.72A.
