LM5116: Sequence of each pin

Part Number: LM5116

Hi,

I am considering using the LM5116 device.
The specifications are as follows.
VIN: 80V
VOUT: 17V
IOUT: 5.5A
My specification is that since VOUT is 17V, VCCX cannot be powered from the output voltage.
Therefore, I plan to supply power to VCCX using a separate external power supply.
I also plan to control the EN pin from an external signal instead of connecting it directly to VIN.
So I would like to ask you a question.
Are there any on / off sequence restrictions for VIN, VCCX and EN? (If this condition is not observed, the device will be destroyed, etc.)
Best regards,
  • In general you will want VIN to be present before VCCX.  Also, it is good practice to have VIN present before, or at the same time, as the EN signal.

Please take a look at the "High-voltage start-up regulator" and "Enable" sections of the data sheet for more information.
