Hi,

one of my customers has doubts on setting of "Predict Ambient Time" in the Gas Gauging IT Cfg of the Data Flash table. Could you kindly share more details on use of this parameter?

    Phil,

    Here is the description: 

    Description: Predict Ambient Time determines the wait time before the algorithm starts to predict the ambient temperature during charge/discharge.

    If you are actively charging or discharging and the temperature changes we dont know if it is ambient temp or self heating causing the increase. This parameter is how long to hold off before we start updating what the gauge thinks the ambient temperature is. 

    I recommend leaving default. To disable you can set the DF value to 0.
