BQ25619: Can't disable BATFET without VBUS input)

We would like disable BATFET to turnoff system power completely throughout I2C to set bit5 of 07 register as "1" , here we check the EVM it can't work if we have no connect an adapter on VBUS,

Please advise how to achieve BATFET turnoff without input source?

Hey Cage,

DId you make sure you set REG07[3] = 0 as well? This bit will delay the BATFET turn off for 10s. But you should be able to turn off the BATFET using the bit you mentioned.
