Hi E2E,

Good day!

A customer of mine wants to understand the commands on their generated *.bq.fs file. Upon, opening the file, the following commands can be found: SWB, SWW, SCW, SCL, etc.

Do we have any updated documentation for this commands? I can only find the Flash Stream File Format pdf. However, commands on that document are different.

Hello Franz,

We should not have SWB, SWW, SCW, SCL on our generated bq.fs files. We should have just W, X, C.

Hi Franz,

BQ40z50-R2 supports SMBus instead of i2c. The SWB, SWW, SCW, and SCL are the commands of the SMBus version.

SWB: Write block command

SWW: Write word command

SCW and SCL: Compare command
