Can the TPS65131EVM-063 operate under these conditions?

Hi:

We want to use TPS65131EVM-063 Evaluation Module ,

we have the some condition below

input=3.0V~3.6V

Output= positive voltage ~18V; negative voltage ~ -15V

and output current neet ~500mA(or higher)

Could this EVA board support our request?

Hello,

TPS65131 device can support maximum voltage of +/-15V so it cannot support 18V.

At Vin=3.6V and Vpos/neg=+/- 15V, the conversion ratio will be high enough that it will not be able to support 500mA load current.

Hello,

There is no integrated split rails device (boost and inverting converter in one device) that will support your specifications. You will likely need to use a separate boost (such as TPS61085A or a similar device) and inverting converter (such as TPS63700 or a similar device) to accomplish your specifications. Please review specifications for these and other similar devices on ti.com
