BQ34Z100-G1: BQ34Z100-G1

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM,
I want to use the on GPCCHEM tool to determine the chem id for a battery pack connected to the bq34z100-g1.
The connected battery is a 6 cell, 4500mah LiPo battery. we use a scaling factor of 5.
I would like to know if the current values i will upload to the tool should also be scaled by 5 or if it should be the actual unscaled current?
  • The capacity of your battery is not very high, if the current would not higher than 32.76A, then you do not need scale mode.

If you do need to use the scale mode, you can use a scaled current to do the test.

You can also use non scaled mode to do learning cycle if you can not find matched ID, but remember to scale up the Ra value and scale down the Qmax when you configure the gauge for learning cycle and following use
