UCD9248: ucd ptd startup problem

Hello, I Have some startup problem with UCD and PTD08A10WAD, I have 3 identicaly assembled boards, on one of them the power rails starts with a correct ramp.

ON the 2 others boards, I can't regulated at startup with the same parameters (I copy the EEPROM of the good one). the rail do a Strange startup wtih overshoot to more than 3 times the voltage value and do I lots of oscilation at 100Hz before stabilsed to the consign voltage value.

Could you help me, Do you have some notes about this, do you think the USD are HS.

Hi Christophe,

Is it possible to swap UCD9248 between good board and bad board, and see if the problem follow IC or board?

ok i will try to replace by a new one. Might you please send me a copy process of the firmaware from one to an other UCD9248, to be sure to place the same configuration in the new one.

I try to replace the UCD9248 there is no change, today I try to replace the PTD08A.

hello, the problem was not sold with changing PTD08A. after more and more investigation there was an error on report process.

The manufacturer mount for the EAP EAN channel a wrong capacitor 22uF instead of 1nF this is creally impossible to detecte it without removing this capacitor and mesure it....

thank for your help, place this solution in your archive if some identical error is reproduce.
