TPS7A8300: TPS7A8300 INTERFACE

Hi sir,

I am using TPS7A8300 for one of the power requirement of 4.5V o/p. 

Getting only 1.1V output with this circuit. If i mount resistor for pins 5, 6, 7, 9, 10,11 and resistor divider will get 5V. Without resistor divider will get 3.95V. @ FB point is 0.8V (EN pin high). Mounted C344 and there is no change. 

Please suggest for any corrections.

    Hello Sudarshana,

    On first glance this should be working.
    I see this is for transmit power. 
    Do you experience the same issues when you disable any transmitter, but only power up the linear regulator?

    Can you please provide an oscilloscope plot of Vin, EN, Vout?

    Attaching the captured wave form. Vout of 5V coming only if i mount resistors for pin 5, 6, 7 9, 10 and 11. But not getting 4.5v o/p

    Hello Sudarshana,

    Use a multimeter and measure the resistors in the circuit.
    Using the same multimeter, measure the connections in the circuit and confirm that there are no broken or intermittent connections.

    Remove C343 and see if there is a change in output voltage.

    Can you confirm that these results exist even when powered without a load?

    Let me know the results so we can continue troubleshooting.

    Hi Stephen,

    The issue was with pin 8 and 9 interchange in PCB footprint. Pin 9 grounded instead of 8 so always coming 1.1v and resistor divider was also not working. 

    After removing pin 9 connection from ground output comes 4.5v.
