Hello,
I'm using BQ25606 charger. Because this charger is a part of a "larger" circuit, where also mCU is used - a FT232RL IC is in use as converter between UART (mCU) and USB type of communication. This means that D+ and D- lines are shared between BQ25606 and FT232RL (and external device - unknown charger or DCP (PC)). Consequently, I think that type of device is not recognised by BQ25606 in a right way - when I connect USB cable to PC (USB 2.0 port), I can measure also 1A of a current from USB port . Then I disconnected cable very quickly because this is too high...
FT232RL has integrated 1.5k resistors to 3V3 VCC, so I think that this produces a mess with BQ25606 detection..
What can I do?
Can I simulate state on D+/D- lines in anyway, that the device will think DCP is plugged in?
Thanks,
BR,
Dejan.
